Camera Base Plate SP Gear Tripod Adapter
 
The SPGear Tripod Adaptor is a one-touch adapter to attach, detach portable broadcast cameras or camcorders to the tripod. A professional tripod attachment, a robust, completely metal construction it provides greater stability and a rigid mount between the tripod and the camera with quick-release.
 
Designed and functionally the same as the Sony Base Plate , Panasonic SHAN-TM700, JVC KA-551U, PA-DV5000 tripod adaptors, but most of all it's equivalent to Sony14. (VCT U14 which is less robust, has more plastic in its construction)
